Location: Fox River Grove, IL
Duration: Permanent direct hire
Salary range: 75-105k+
Client is looking for an Electrical Engineer with 5-10 Years Experience. PE a plus.
Experience working with Commercial, Institutional and Educational type Facilities preferred.
Design and Engineering of Building Electrical Systems such as Power Distribution, Lighting, conduit, risers. etc.
LEED A.P. a plus

POSITION: Electrical Engineer Licensed PE
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Electrical Engineer shall provide complete electrical engineering design services for all phases of work on assigned projects including preliminary electrical design of equipment and systems, through the production of construction documents under the direction of the lead engineer.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
o Using software to establish lighting levels (photometrics) and power loads.
o Electrical systems design, including overall utility loads/ sizing of electrical service.
o Electrical equipment selection.
o Low voltage systems design.
o Interface with in-house personnel for coordination
o Interface with consultants and suppliers to achieve final product.
o Prepare plans.
o Visit project site to review existing conditions and systems operation.
o Review shop drawings.
REQUIRED SPECIAL SKILLS:
o Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
o Proficient in AutoCAD.
o Knowledge of REVIT is a plus.
o Strong interpersonal skills including excellent oral and written communication skills a plus.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
