What You Will Do:
This position will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server software and related products, backups, security, patches and replication. This would also include maintaining and optimizing existing SQL Server processes such as scheduled jobs, stored procedures, and triggers.
The Highlights:
Identify database requirements by interviewing customers; analyzing department applications, programming, and operations; evaluating existing systems and designing proposed systems.
Recommend solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications.
Install revised or new systems by proposing specifications and flowcharts; recommend optimum access techniques; coordinate installation requirements.
Maintain database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters; implementing new releases; completing maintenance requirements; evaluating computer operating systems and hardware products.
Plan for growth and changes (capacity planning).
Work as part of a team and providing 7?24 support when required.
Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Do you qualify?
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
Five or more years of database administration operations experience in a Microsoft SQL Server environment
Experience with database design and normalization, replication, query and index tuning, execution plans
Experience in implementing and maintaining database security
Strong experience in database tuning, application tuning and performance monitoring
Experience with integration of SQL Server to any version control system
Experience with SAN storage, and database capacity planning
Ability to perform code and design reviews
Must possess excellent communication, organizational skills and project management skills
PREFERRED: Experience in NoSQL database

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
